Privacy policy

This policy explains how PRAGYAN, INC handles information in Cinch Cal for macOS and on this website. Contact apps@pragyan.tech with questions.

Your calendar information

Cinch Cal accesses the calendars you permit through Apple’s EventKit framework to display, search, create and edit events. Calendar permissions apply to each account. Apple Calendar and your connected providers handle calendar storage and syncing. Cinch Cal does not upload calendar entries to its own server.

Event titles, notes, locations, calendar names and search text are excluded from product analytics. Calendar exports you choose to create are saved or shared to the destination you select. You control those exported files.

Local settings and trial

Appearance preferences and app settings are stored on your Mac. An installation identifier and the original installation date support the Premium trial and diagnostic access checks. Trial information may remain in your Mac’s Keychain after the app is removed.

Product analytics

Cinch Cal uses Google Firebase for app configuration and usage analytics. Usage information can include app launches, screen views, feature interactions, preference categories, free or paid status, and technical app and device information. Firebase may process app instance identifiers and network information as part of providing these services. Cinch Cal also uses an installation identifier for server checks that control access to diagnostic tools.

You can turn product analytics off in Cinch Cal Settings on every plan. The saved choice applies from launch. Turning analytics off does not stop network requests needed for configuration, purchase restoration or diagnostic authorization.

Premium and promotions

Apple processes Premium purchases and restores through your App Store account. Cinch Cal uses purchase status to unlock features; we do not receive your payment card details. The free plan may show sponsor messages and companion-app promotions. Premium removes these promotions. Sponsor content does not need your calendar entries for targeting.

Links and support

Meeting, email, source and sponsor links open only when you choose them. Their destination apps and services have their own privacy policies. If you email support, we receive the contact information and content you send, and use it to answer your request and resolve problems. Do not send private calendar data unless necessary for your request.

This website

This site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Hosting providers process network and request information, including IP addresses, to serve and protect the site. This website does not include advertising or analytics scripts.

Your choices and requests

Revoke Calendar permission in macOS System Settings, disable product analytics in Cinch Cal Settings, and delete exported files you no longer need. Removing Cinch Cal does not delete calendar events stored with your calendar provider. Contact us to request access to or deletion of support information you provided. We retain support correspondence as needed to address requests and meet applicable obligations.

Service providers and changes

Apple and Google process information under their respective privacy policies. We may update this policy as Cinch Cal changes and will revise the date above. For questions, contact apps@pragyan.tech.
